The Football NSW Grassroots Referees Conference is a full day development event designed to support, educate and inspire grassroots match officials, coaches and branch leaders.

This conference is practical, performance-focused and built around the real challenges referees face every weekend. The conference will focus on tools, frameworks and discussions that referees can immediately apply in their next match.

Participants can expect a mix of keynote-style learning, interactive discussions and practical workshop components designed to encourage engagement and shared learning.

  • A keynote presentation by Football Australia Head of Referee's, Jon Moss
  • A panel on Females Officiating in the Male Space with, Chloe Gray, Ella Mcgarity, Isabella Vrtkovski
  • A keynote on Referee Coaching by the 2025 FNSW Referee's Branch Assessor of the Year Award, Alex Glasgow
  • Branch Pathways Workshop with FNSW Referee's Education Coordinator, Nick Young and A-League Women's Fourth Official, Alana Zic
  • Strength & Conditioning Workshop with A-League Womens Fourth Official, Charlotte Flynn, and Australian Championship Assistant Referee, Matt Harris
