The presentation will be facilitated by a panel of healthcare providers caring for mild cases of COVID-19 patients in the community.
Introduction
An advantage of the COVID-19 treatment is that many patients (at risk of progressing to severe disease) will be able to receive treatment for COVID-19 in their own homes, preventing the need for hospitalisation.
Purpose & Goal
- Familiarize GPs with prescribing for COVID19 in the community
- Improve awareness of community COVID-19 treatment
- Increase knowledge of the oral antivirals
- Support confidence in prescribing oral antiviral

- To distinguish between the oral antiviral
- To prescribe COVID-19 treatment in the community
