Session times are broken down as follows:
Saturday 20th May - Stream 1 = 12.00pm - 6.00pm - STREAM IS NOW FULL
Saturday 20th May - Stream 2 = 12.05pm - 6.00pm
Sunday 21st May - Stream 1 = 8.30am - 1.30pm
Sunday 21st May - Stream 2 = 8.35am - 1.30pm
Sunday 21st May - Stream 3 = 7.30am - 2.30pm
If you are wanting to attend a session on Saturday and Sunday, please ensure you register for both days.
This education forms accredited activities under the RACGP QI & CPD Program. There will be two Active Learning Modules (40 Category 1 points) available over the week-end. Participants have the choice of attending either:
Care of the Elderly Patient (Streams 1 and 2) running Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning
Emergency Medicine (Stream 3) running Sunday.
GPs attending stream 1 or 2 only will be eligible for 8 Category 2 points.
Approval is pending for the Emergency Medicine stream to be eligible for the Rural Procedural Grant – Emergency.
Who should attend this event?
This event is open to GP's. it is not open to other medical, nursing or students or to members of the general public.
What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
On site car parking is available and accessible from the main entrance off Mountain Highway. Disabled parking is accessible via the main driveway off Mountain Highway. Failure to observe parking restrictions on the Hospital grounds and surrounding streets may result in a parking infringement notice being issued by the local Council.
Bus service no's. 738 Mitcham to Knox City via Knox Private Hospital and Wantirna Secondary College and 745 Bayswater to Wantirna Primary school stop in front of Wantirna Health along Mountain Highway.

Taxi drop off and pick up is available at the front of Wantirna Health and a taxi booking phone is available in the front entrance of the Hospital.
I can't make it now and I've booked a ticket, can I give my ticket to someone else?
No, your ticket is not transferrable. If you are no longer able to make the course, please contact the course organiser and let them know. Your ticket will be given to someone on the waiting list.
