Gore Street, Fitzroy (2025) Outdoor Screening + Q&A

Condell Street ReserveMelbourne, VIC
Friday, Mar 20 from 6:30 pm to 9 pm
Overview

Join us for an open-air community screening of Gore Street, Fitzroy (2025), a historical documentary by local filmmaker Zoe Coldham.

Settle in for an outdoor cinema experience followed by Q&A with film director, Zoe Coldham. This is a picnic-style event, bring a blanket, picnic rug, or low chair and make yourself comfortable on the grass. There will also be limited unallocated seating, so we encourage you to arrive early to claim your spot.

Gore Street, Fitzroy traces the history of Gore Street, in Fitzroy, Melbourne’s oldest suburb. Through a series of interviews with longstanding residents, Coldham, who grew up on Gore Street, paints a picture of the street and reflects on a community that has transformed through waves of gentrification.

The film has recently screened to a sold-out audience at ACMI, and we are pleased to share another opportunity to see it, this time outdoors at Condell Street Reserve, Fitzroy.
