Godly Play Core Training Expressions of Interest - Adelaide 7-9 July 2026

This is the core training required to achieve accreditation as a storyteller/doorperson. Training takes three days (a minimum of 21 hours training). All three days and each session must be attended to achieve accreditation. In this time two accredited trainers will work with the group to provide information and experience of the three genres of stories in Godly Play, the role of the storyteller, the role of the doorperson, the Godly Play space, materials, response time, spirituality of the child, forming and maintaining a story circle community that is safe, the history and practice of Godly Play and much more. Godly Play Core training involves an action and reflection process, with opportunity and encouragement to participate in storytelling and reflection.

After your expression of interest form is completed you will be sent a registration form and an invoice for the cost of training. The cost will be $700 which includes all three days of training plus morning and afternoon tea. Scholarships are available for individuals working/volunteering with Churches.
