Join us for a fun and interactive Italian cooking class where you'll learn how to make delicious homemade gnocchi from scratch! This hands-on event is perfect for foodies and pasta lovers alike. Anna and Sara will guide you through the process step by step, so don't worry if you're a beginner in the kitchen.

This class is just the thing for people who are obsessed with Gnocchi and want to take their gnocchi making skills to the next level.

Have you ever tried Italian home-made gnocchi? If not, forget what you had before, because gnocchi are really “something” else!

In this class you’ll learn how to prepare soft, light and fluffy Italian gnocchi as they should be, in the traditional way or even in an easier way, we’ll show you three easy and yummy sauces that are great with any kind of pasta, but especially perfect with gnocchi.

Then we’ll cook the gnocchi with two different sauces, and we’ll gather together with a glass of Italian white wine to enhance the flavour of our gnocchi.

At the end of the class, you’ll get the recipe book, but more important you’ll get your gnocchi production and a container of one of the sauces we prepared, that way your family and loved ones can have a taste of what you have learnt to make.

Sharing the kitchen with other people is a perfect way to learn, have fun and make new friends while you prepare something delicious is an unforgettable experience.

All our recipes are hands on, you’ll be working at your private bench space with a maximum of 14 participants to ensure that every one of you will be well looked after and to maximise your learning and help you to master the necessary skills.

Class menu’

- Gnocchi from scratch

- 3 different Italian sauces: Gorgonzola sauce; Mushroom red sauce and light tomato and basil sauce.

Class ingredients

Potatoes, fine semolina flour, plain flour, Parmesan, extra virgin olive oil, pepper, crushed tomatoes, basil, onion, garlic, mushrooms, cooking cream, parsley, Gorgonzola cheese.

What you need to know

Ingredients, apron, tools, and everything you need is provided by us.

Course is suitable for any skill level.

Age requirement: 15+

Please come 10-15 minutes before the start time of the class.

Please wear closed in comfortable shoes.

LASAGNA, Bechamel, Ragu' Bolognaise Italian cooking class.

Origins Italian cooking classes - Anna and Sara

You’ll learn the mastery of making fresh handmade pasta, use a manual pasta machine and a roller, prepare the traditional slow cooked Italian Ragu’ and our special Bechamel sauce. We’ll show you all the secrets and hints to create a perfectly balanced, tasty and delicious Lasagna, then we’ll cook the Lasagna that Anna and Sara have prepared, and we’ll enjoy it with a glass of Italian red wine which, as we say in Italy “con la lasagna e’ la morte sua” (literally: red wine with lasagna, is its perfect death meaning that they are a perfect match). At the end of the class, you will take home the tray of Lasagna you prepared to cook and share with the people you love, and you’ll get the recipe book of the class you attended. When you cook with other people you learn more easily, because it’s fun, and the fun enhances your concentration and receptiveness. So, what are you waiting for?
