The Glow Show is proud to associate with Bicheno Beams and Nature World to bring even more glow to Bicheno this year! From a splendid School Holidays Glow Show, to a very special glow program at Nature World, to a nighttime Glow Show -- Glow For It!

NOTE: By popular demand we have added an extra night! T﻿he Glow Show is proudly partnering with Nature World for two very special, small-group tours to see marsupials and birds that glow in the dark! You simply won't believe your eyes: bandicoots, possums, wallabies and quolls in vibrant pinks and greens! Devils with blue ears! Cockatoos in orange and blue! And many more! It is, quite literally, to see these animals in a different light, in a way that few ever get to witness. B﻿iofluorescence is a naturally occurring phenomenon in many types of living and non-living things, and is particularly striking in marsupials and some Australian birds. E﻿ach event will include a brief introduction on animal fluorescence by scientist Dr Lisa Gershwin, then Lisa and a Nature World wildlife keeper will lead a walking tour around Nature World to see what's glowing. Each person will be provided with an ultraviolet (UV) light that they can use to fluoresce animals and plants around Nature World. And there will be opportunity to interact with animals, which may include possum and wallaby joeys, a wombat, sugar glider, blue tongue lizard, or possibly even a Tasmanian devil, depending on which species are feeling curious or cuddly on the night. B﻿ring comfortable footware for walking, warm clothes for being outdoors at night, a white-light torch for seeing where you’re walking, a camera if you wish, and definitely a sense of curiosity and wonder. Meet at Nature World.
