Join us for a free, 3-hour Stepping Forward workshop, designed especially for families and friends impacted by someone’s substance use.
In a safe and supportive space, connect with others who are facing similar challenges. This session will explore:
🔹 The Stages of Change – understanding the process of change for people using substances
🔹 The Family’s Stages of Change – recognising your own journey and emotional responses
🔹 Tools and strategies – to help you cope, build resilience, and feel more empowered.
2. Effective Communication -
- Strategies on how to communicate with people using substances
- Discussion on what works and what doesn’t
- Some practical and simple tips that will make a difference
- Understanding communication in the household
Presented by Family Drug Support – a national, non-religious, not-for-profit organisation that has been supporting families for over 25 years.
Each Stepping Forward session is practical, informative, and uplifting. Whether this is your first session or you’ve attended before, you’ll walk away with new insights and something meaningful to support you on your journey.
