Join us for our LGBTQ+ Friendmaking Social at Kinselas Hotel during the legendary Mardi Gras season 🏳️‍🌈

This social is all about meeting like-minded people on visas, making genuine connections, and having a relaxed night out in a safe and inclusive space.

Whether you identify as a girl, gay, they, non-binary, trans, queer, bi, lesbian or ally, or any letter of the rainbow alphabet you identify with, you are welcome here. This is a space to show up as you are and meet others doing the same.

We’ll be hosting our social at Kinselas, Oxford Street, known for its vibrant atmosphere and welcoming energy. We'll be in a private space - The Chapel Bar!

🕕 What to expect

• Arrive from 6pm
• Icebreakers kick off at 6:30pm to help you chat and mingle
• Event wraps up approx 8:30pm

No awkward standing around. Our WHG host will help introduce you and make sure everyone feels included.

Please note: Drinks are not included in your ticket, but can be purchased directly from the bar.

Who can come?

• Ages 18–35
• Members of the LGBTQ+ community
• Sydney Working Holiday Girls community members welcome
• You can be on a Working Holiday Visa or similar visa such as partnership, PR, sponsored, student etc.

You’re welcome whether you’ve just arrived in Sydney or have been here a while. This is about building your people.

T&Cs

• No refunds, however you’re welcome to sell or transfer your ticket to someone else.
• Photos will be taken at the event for social media. Please let us know on the night if you’d prefer not to be in photos.
