GGA is pleased to offer a fully accredited Diploma of Project Management as part of our Capacity Building program.
20 places are available with 12 places especially for GGA Network organisations and 8 for the wider industry.
Package Details
An acreddited trainer will deliver the course. The bulk of the learning will take place in a 4- day residential live-in short-course at The Muresk Institute in Northam from 4-7 June 2024.
This will be an immersion learning, collegiate experience, designed to give participants the opportunity to build connections and network with staff from other Grower Groups and the wider agriculture industry.
Fee:
An all-inclusive fee per person covers tuition, accommodation & meals.
GGA member rate $1,300 pp
Industry rate $1,600 pp
Tuition:
Tuition includes the four days at Muresk and a practical project assessment during the week.
Delegates obtain the nationally accredited Diploma of Project Management course number is BSB50820.
Content will cover Project Management Overview and theory covering the Project Management Body of Knowledge (10 PMBOK principles): Integration, Scope, HR, Stakeholders, Communication, Risk, Quality, Procurement, Cost, Time
The content will be delivered in are 8 core units and 4 elective units we have selected suited to the typical agricultural industry R&D Trial or event project management context:

Accommodation:
Accommodated on campus at Muresk in the student quarters, delegates will have a private modest room with shared bathroom facilities and access to a fully equipped kitchen (including stove and fridge), lounge room with a television and plenty of space to wander outside for exercise or recharging.
Day 1, 2, 3 (Tues, Wed, Thur night) overnight accommodation included.
Day 4 - delegates return home at the end of day [3.00pm course finish].
Meals:
Meal packs will be provided for delegates catering for all dietary requirements allowing participants to eat with fellow students or retreat to your room or the grounds for a private break. Kitchenette facilities are available in the training room to heat up food or back in your accommodation quarters.
Day 1 - lunch, afternoon tea and dinner included
Day 2& 3- breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. On Wednesday night we will dine out with a social dinner off campus at a local restaurant in Northam - fun, fun!
Day 4 - breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea.
