LADIES OF LEISURE (LOL)is a creative collective based in Melbourne-Naarm.We're about supporting vision, creativity, and vulnerability in its many different forms. We want LOL to excite, inspire and encourage through profiling the people who are making *it* happen and providing insights as to how they're doing it.LOL is a community that celebrates strength, weakness, success, and process, running a wide variety of workshops with industry leaders to assist creative people in pursuit of their passions and help like-minded people connect and collaborate.As well as running workshops, we publish zines, create films, make and sell a range of fab merch.Ladies of Leisure would like to acknowledge that this event is being held on stolen land. We wish to acknowledge the custodians of this land, the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nation and their Elders past, present and emerging. Sovereignty was never ceded, and colonial violence continues to this day.

Communicating confidently, articulately and respectfully.  Need help on how to avoid getting tongue tied in a job interview, or seeing red and losing your head in a heated conversation with a friend? As the Secretary for the <A HREF="http://www.sexparty.org.au/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Australian Sex Party,</A> the campaign director for the <A HREF="http://www.melbourneperiodproject.org.au/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Melbourne Period Project</A>, and a generally outspoken, strong female, Nevena Spirovska is adept at connecting with her core values and communicating them to others. Let her fill you in on how to confidently, articulately and respectfully find your voice and make sure it’s heard, both in the professional sphere and in your personal life. 
LEADER BIO: NEVENA SPIROVSKA Nevena Spirovska is the Secretary of the Australian Sex Party, senior electoral officer of Fiona Patten MP and campaign director for The Period Project and The School Project.
She ran the campaign that led to the election of the first representative of the Sex Party to Parliament and has worked on every Federal, State & Local Government election with the Party from 2010. Nevena has also stood as a political candidate for the Sex Party in 2012 and 2014. She also worked on the campaign that saw Safe Access Zones legislated in Victoria.
Nevena is passionate about civil liberties and making political power more accessible to women.
