Get Active CALD Youth Health Forum

We would like to invite students from your school to attend a Youth Health Forum targeting culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) youth as follows:

Date: Friday, 16 December 2016

Time: 10: 00am – 13:00 pm

Venue: St George Community Centre, Premier Street, Kogarah

Lunch: Light lunch is provided on the day (Vegetarian and Halah Chicken meal available).

Advance Diversity Services (ADS) is organising this Youth Health Forum to consult young people from CALD background as part of the Get Active CALD Youth project funded by Multicultural Health Service. This Youth Health Forum is an opportunity for us to build on our engagement with your students. This will be the first Youth Health Forum organised by ADS and South Eastern Sydney Local Health District in the region.

Young people will be consulted to enable youth and health service providers to understand their level of health and wellbeing including identifying gaps and barriers in faced by them. The findings would then be disseminated to relevant health service providers such as local diversity health, Multicultural Health Forum, Primary Health Networks, etc.

We would appreciate RSVP of your students’ attendance or apologies by Friday 9 December 2016.

We look forward to your participation.

Yours sincerely,

Wendy Liu
