Overview

Join former ABC broadcaster Geoff Hutchison as he shares insights from his warm, funny and candid book How Not to Become a Grumpy Old Bugger

Why do some men seem to harden into “grumpy old buggers” as they age and can anything be done about it?

Join former ABC broadcaster and foreign correspondent Geoff Hutchison as he chats about his warm, funny and candid book How Not to Become a Grumpy Old Bugger: A Bloke’s Guide to Living a Better Life.

Drawing on his own life, conversations with experts, well-known Australians, and years spent talking with listeners, Geoff explores what happens when blokes lose joy, connection and curiosity in later life, and how they can gently turn things around. From health, relationships and retirement to loneliness, social media, regrets and even death, he tackles the big topics with humour, compassion and plenty of practical wisdom.

This event is perfect for anyone navigating midlife and beyond, as well as partners, family members and friends who want to better understand the men they love.

Geoff’s book will be available for purchase by courtesy of Dymocks Booksellers and Geoff will be happy to sign copies of his book.

Please note: Wine will be served at this event
