Using the NGV Triennial as our inspiration, we will learn to code, generate and print patterns to use for fabrics, wallpapers, products and more.
Are you an artist or designer that’s always wanted to explore how coding could help your work personally or professionally?
Generative Patterns is a workshop aimed to teach participants how to code creatively. In this workshop, we will learn some coding basics and create a series of images entirely with code. This generated image will then be transformed into a pattern that can be used for custom fabric, poster, wallpaper, product design and more. All you need is a laptop and some creativity!
