They create traditional and contemporary basketry, sharing skills and learning from one another, often drawing on diverse ethnic and indigenous methods. Their work spans practical pieces to sculptural forms.

This exhibition celebrates the evolution of basketry in South Australia, inviting visitors to explore their curiosity and the creative spirit of this enduring craft.

In addition to the main Basketry SA Inc. exhibition their will be trading table displays on Saturday afternoons. The smaller display represents both functional and decorative vessels on a domestic scale with fibres sourced mostly from local gardens. Visitors will have the additional opportunity to purchase directly from the table.
