A weekly gardening session at the ANU Kitchen Garden Plot near Kambri. No experience needed, just come along and help out!

Welcome to the Kitchen Garden!

This is a free, drop-in program for ANU students and staff.

Social and relaxed community gardening on campus. No experience is needed - come along and learn. We grow food to share using regenerative principles and promoting biodiversity. Participants can harvest and share in the garden produce. The Kitchen Garden is a great place to connect with people and with nature. You can share your own experiences and knowledge or learn from others or simply relax and have fun!

Come along and help with weeding, planting, seed sowing and watering, and take home some fresh herbs or veggies. We will also have some snacks from the garden- fresh fruit, veggies or some yummy dip!

Gardening Bees are relaxed, fun and social and a great way to get fresh air, exercise and to spend time in nature.

You don't need any gardening knowledge or experience: we'll teach you what you need to know!

What to wear/bring:

  • A hat
  • A water bottle
  • Comfortable clothes and shoes (gloves are provided but gardening can be messy so please wear clothes that are comfortable and that can get dirty).

Please stay home if you are sick.
