Looking for something fun to do? Ready to roll the dice and make new friends? Join our growing community of board gamers for some fun!

We’ve got a library of games for you to explore—or bring your favourite to share with the group. Whether you’re a seasoned strategist or just looking for a good laugh, there’s something for everyone!

Come alone or bring your friends, everyone is welcome.

Light refreshments provided. BYO packaged snacks if you'd like to.

To help make a successful event:

• Don't come if you're unwell.

• Let us know if you can't come - we'll cancel your booking so others can register instead.

• By registering for a Libraries Tasmania event, you agree to follow our policies – including the Responsible Conduct Policy and Safeguarding Children Policy. Thank you for helping keep our spaces safe and respectful for everyone.

• Tell us if you need assistance or if you'll be accompanied by a support person.

• There are two designated mobility parking spaces next to the library, with a 2-hour parking limit.

• The library has a wheelchair accessible elevator.

• An accessible restroom is available.

• Parking is available in Melville Street, across the road from the Library.
