Event Information

Event description

Join renowned coffee producers Aida Batlle (El Salvador) and Rachel Peterson (Panama) as they team up for a first-of its-kind collaborative tour to promote some of the most exceptional, sought-after coffees in the world from their family farms.

Rachel and Aida will visit CRS - Sydney, Xtracted - Brisbane, and Slyer - Melbourne, Australia, for three special events, each of which will include a panel discussion, a question-and-answer session, a tasting of their exceptional coffees, and a meet-and-greet during which guests will be treated to champagne cocktails featuring cascara from Aida’s and Rachel’s farms.

At Criteria Coffee, Craig Simon and Aida Batlle will also be presenting an experimental “Scissor Cut” natural processed coffee, produced exclusively in collaboration together. You’ll get to experience what this unique coffee tastes like, participate in Craig’s own consumer focused ‘taste evaluation’ methodology, and join a special discussion and question and answer session.

Rachel and Aida are both known internationally for their partnerships with Barista and Brewers Cup champions, as well as groundbreaking work in experimental processing techniques, among their many other achievements. Take this oppertunity to ask some of the most well known producers in the world all the hard hitting questions.
