Description
Explore the pressing challenges for Australia in the 21st century at Future 21, Young Australians in International Affairs' inaugural national conference.
Join the next generation of policy makers, thought leaders and scholars to think critically about Australia's domestic and foreign policy and how we will navigate our future in the Indo-Pacific Asian century alongside some of Australia's leading policy thinkers and practitioners.
Future 21 will run over Thursday 15 September and Friday 16 September 2016 at the Crawford School of Public Policy at the Australian National University, Canberra.
The conference
Sessions over the two days will focus on the international security environment Australia faces in the 21st century, our regional strategic outlook in Southeast Asia and the Pacific, the future of the Australia-US alliance, Australia's as a middle power, the role of technology and digital diplomacy in international affairs, and global challenges such as climate change.
