Will I be doing gardening during the workshop?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We’ll be planting a fruit tree (as well as learning theory) so bring your gardening gloves and wear appropriate clothes and shoes.

Yes. We're offering workshops on growing food almost every month over the next year as part of our 'Growing Food Through the Seasons' workshop series. Contact the SLA Sustainability Team on SLA.SRC@act.gov.au for more information about registering your interest for the program.

Will the workshop happen if it rains?

Accepted Answer

Please bring a rain jacket and wear clothes and shoes suitable for outdoors, but we will cancel the outdoor component in the event of severe rain or storms.
