Gizmo Cats - Educating the Innovators of the Future

All Ages 7 to 70 Fun with Scratch and Raspberry Pi! Under 10's will require parental supervision.
Play with the basic concepts behind our devices we use every day. Learn by doing fun hands-on physical activity making a push-button switch and then interface it to the electronics of the Raspberry Pi 's input/output wiring. Instead of children limiting themselves to just playing games, they can change the games and their virtual worlds through simple coding and programming skills. 
Note: This is a slightly easier workshop (thus 7 years old and above) then the computing and Minecraft Pi School Holiday event at The Meeting Place in South Fremantle. In that workshop we will be working with basic Python programming syntax to interface with Minecraft Pi. For additional info on other event see
