Full Moon Ecstatic Yoga & Cacao Ceremony

Full moons are a time for celebration! It's time to gather with your friends and harness the powerful magic of the full moon! And it’s been a while since we can all get out of minds, hearts and souls! Join Flying Yogis, Victory Yoga + Paul Pearlstone, our Progressive House DJ, for a Spiritually Ecstatic experience on the Full Moon.

6:30pm - Welcome & few words for introduction

6:40pm - warm up & kundalini breathing with Amanda

7:00pm - Meditation & Cacao ceremony with Valerie

7:20pm - House music Yoga Dance with Amanda & Paul

8:00pm - Yin & yoga Nidra with Valerie

ABOUT THE EVENT:

Kundalini:

We start the evening with some profound kundalini activating breathing rhythms. Active kundalini breathing is the most direct way to shift negative energy, whether it be emotions that doesn’t serve us; or physical pain & strain.

Cacao Ceremony:

Once we have released what is not serving us we will enter a meditative state. The Full Moon is all about completion; cleansing, releasing, and removing what no longer works for you. During this time we are letting go of the old so we can grab on to the new intention we set at the time of the new moon.

Yoga Flow & Dance:

As the sun sets and the beats get deeper and more progressive , we'll move into a flowing yoga practice. The aim of the practice is to remove blockages and strains from the body- directly opening up the mind to inspiration. Feel free to add any element of dance that might resonate with you.

Yin & Nidra:

We will this beautiful session with some yummy yin poses (longer hold than regular yoga poses) to help the body completly release and relax. The aim is to put you in a complete state of bliss so you can vibrate at a higher frequency.

SOUND & MUSIC:

This entire process will be accompanied by music & sounds specially selected by our DJ, allowing you to go on a yogic vibrational journey. From the tribal rhythms of Cumbia and afro beats, with melodic elements of deep house and driving syths to up the pace. Then wind down to soothing, healing tones. The music and movement combine to bring your breath and body into alignment with its inner nature.

$55 - includes Pure cacao drink & Yoga session.

AMANDA:

Amanda Fuzes has been teaching Yoga since 1997! Yes- a Yoga Relic. Through her background under “old-school” hatha; Iyengar and Ashtanga Yoga teachers, she has developed her own style of dynamic flowing sequencing with the main focus on releasing tension in the mind via healing and strengthening the body.

She loves nothing more than to practice and teach to progressive electronic music. These Full Moon Events encapsulates her two passions .

VALERIE:

For Valerie, yoga is not only a passion, but also a lifestyle. It’s a place to explore the boundaries of your body & mind, and most importantly, have fun. Her classes are focussed on alignment and the body. You will feel strong & fulfilled after her classes. Valeries spirit is uplifting and she makes her students feel welcome and seen!

Passionate, driven and a born teacher. Valerie has always had a desire to help people become the best versions of themselves and through yoga, meditation and Acroyoga, she had found the best medium for not only her own life journey, but to help others live a more fulfilled life.
