FREE Training Trek Mount Tunbudbudla West Saturday 21st Feb 2026

Service Station - Moby VicsGlass House Mountains, QLD
Saturday, Feb 21 from 6:15 am to 10 am AEST
Overview

A weekend walk tackling the West summit of Mt Tunbudbudla. Great training for any upcoming treks.

We will be hiking both Mount Tunbudbudla's West summits on Saturday 21st of February.

We'll depart from Shell Coles Express, Glass House Mountains Outbound , 4249 Bruce Highway (North Bound) at 615am (so try to be there 10-15 mins early).

Look for Gavin wearing a No Roads T-Shirt, near a White Holden Colorado Dual Cab with a canopy on it.

It’s about 15 minutes drive to the mountain from there.

The hike begins around a 1.2km hike from the entry, through the National Park until we meet the junction between the 2 mountains .

We will ascend the Western Mountain first which a steep 307m ascent . The climb is a bit steeper that the Eastern Summit, but also offers better views of the Glasshouse National Park.

It is a physically challenging hike , however it is defined track all the way up & quite safe . The main challenge is a steep track up & one the highest mountain in the Glasshouse mountains group . Great leg strength , cardio & resilience training.

The hike will take approximately 2.5 hours.
