Join us at The Granville Centre for a fun-filled morning of free Tai Chi specifically designed for seniors during Seniors Festival!

As part of Seniors Festival Expo 2026, Cumberland City Council would like to invite senior members of the community to join us for a free outdoor Tai Chi class.

Tai Chi is a slow and gentle exercise that offers the benefits of flexibility, muscle strengthening and endurance training. It can improve health without worsening existing impairments and everyone is encouraged to take part at their own pace.

Wear comfortable clothing, sensible and supportive shoes and bring a bottle of water

Date: Wednesday 4 March 2026

Time: 10:00am to 11:00am

Venue: The Granville Centre - 2a Memorial Dr, Granville NSW 2142

Cost: Free


Terms and conditions:

  • Workshop is open to residents aged 65yrs or over (50yrs for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders) and people with disability aged 18yrs or over and their carers living within the Cumberland City LGA.
  • If you have Flu like symptoms, please do not attend.
  • Bookings open Monday 2 February 2026 and close 12 February 2026 or once booked out. If you do not attend this may impact your ability to book for future Seniors & Disability events provided by Council.
