Celebrate Science Week 2025 with the Australian Age of Dinosaurs in Winton, Queensland.

<p>Welcome to the Australian Age of Dinosaurs for a **FREE!** event to kickstart Science Week in Winton! Join us on 9 August 2025 at 3pm for an exciting journey back in time.</p><p>From 3 to 4pm, we’ll be moving around the Museum Complex to say g’day and meet visitors. Then from 4 to 5pm, join us at the Reception Centre to meet some friendly reptiles, safely view the Sun through our solar telescope, find out what’s happening in the evening program, ask any science questions you might have and learn how you can get involved in citizen science projects. We’d love to see you there!</p>

Meet and greet around the Museum

Join us from 4 to 5pm at the Reception Centre for a fun and fascinating afternoon. Meet some friendly reptiles, safely view the Sun through our solar telescope and discover what’s coming up in the evening program. It’s a great chance to ask your burning science questions and learn how you can get involved in exciting citizen science projects.
