FREE Extreme Heat Preparedness Workshop for Seniors

Let's beat the Australian heat together!

Join us for this FREE Extreme Heat Preparedness Workshop for seniors where we share practical tips on how to stay cool, safe and ready in the event of an emergency during extreme heat and heatwaves in Australia.

This workshop will be facilited by a trained representative from The Australian Red Cross.

Terms and conditions:

· Workshop is open to residents aged 65yrs or over (50yrs for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders) and people with disability aged 18yrs or over and their carers living within the Cumberland City LGA.

· If you have Flu like symptoms, please do not attend.

· Bookings open Monday 9th February and close 20th February 2026 or once booked out. If you do not attend this may impact your ability to book for future Seniors & Disability events provided by Council.
