For adults at post beginner's level to improve listening, reading, speaking and writing skills in English language.

Participants must have a valid Bayside Library membership card to book this English Class.

Free English Class for Adult Post Beginners

Can you recognise, read and respond to simple sentences, such as What’s your name? Where’s the train station? How much is that jacket?

If you say NO to these questions, please come and join us. This engaging English class will focus on practical language skills in

• Comprehensive reading comprehension from textbooks and Bayside community news, aimed at improving vocabulary and understanding;
• Creative writing activities to develop writing proficiency;
• Interactive grammar workshops covering essential grammar rules and usage;
• Group discussions on various topics related to living in Australia, including culture, daily life, and local customs;
• Practical presentation of discussions to enhance speaking skills, with emphasis on pronunciation and fluency

As Library programs have limited spaces, bookings are essential.

If you are unable to attend, please cancel your ticket as soon as possible to enable others to participate. Please arrive on time to attend the class. Please do not bring your child to this English Class.

Booking without a valid Bayside Library membership number will be automatically cancelled.
