Join us for a one week, 4-evening free meditation course in Woden. Beginners are very welcome.

Why Meditate?

Our free Why Meditate course offers the methods, knowledge and inspiration you’ll need to embark on your own inner journey while exploring the many paths of meditation – you only need the sincerity to try and the determination to practice.

Our instructors, who have many years of experience to share with you, will present a range of techniques, including essential meditation secrets. You’ll also enjoy the company of like-minded people who, like you, are seeking the inner treasures that the inner life always brings.

Venue: Community Room 2, Woden Library

  • Session 1 - Breathing and Concentration: Monday, 16 March, 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
  • Session 2 - Mantras and the Spiritual Heart: Tuesday, 17 March, 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
  • Session 3 - Music and Meditation: Thursday, 19 March, 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
  • Session 4 - From Daily Practice to Lifestyle: Friday, 20 March, 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Each session we’ll introduce new techniques and build on previous sessions. To maintain the flow of the course and gain the most benefit, please join by the second session.
