Communify Qld - Paddington Hall (Community Spaces)

What if we prepared for postpartum like we prepare for birth? You’ve got your hospital bag checklist, planned your birth and carefully prepared the nursery. But have you thought about preparing for what comes next? The fourth trimester is one of the biggest transitions you’ll ever experience, yet so many women enter it feeling unprepared. Between feeding, recovery, changing relationships and a whole new identity, the early weeks of motherhood can be both beautiful and incredibly challenging.Join Mia from Sonny Collective, Jessica, Perinatal Psychologist from Nurturing Haven, and Natasha, Postpartum Doula from Tender Space, for an intimate afternoon designed to help you feel informed, supported and confident as you prepare for life after birth.Together, we’ll explore the emotional and practical realities of the fourth trimester, including matrescence (the transition into motherhood), ways to care for your own wellbeing amidst the noise of postpartum, and how to build the support network every new mum deserves.More than just a workshop, this is an opportunity to slow down, enjoy a nourishing afternoon tea while you connect with other mums-to-be and leave with practical strategies, trusted resources and the reassurance that you don’t have to figure it all out alone. You’ll leave with:

A deeper understanding of the fourth trimester and matrescence

Practical tools to support your emotional wellbeing after birth

Ideas for creating a supportive postpartum plan

Connection with other expectant mums

A nourishing afternoon tea, take-home resources and the chance to win a lucky door prize bundle

This afternoon is designed to help you feel more prepared for one of life’s biggest transitions. We can’t wait to welcome you.
