Overview

Kick-start cultural competency journey with Red Dust. In this workshop we work together to establish your foundation for cultural awareness

In partnership with remote Indigenous communities, we facilitate genuine two-way learning and cultural exchange in safe environments for dynamic conversations about country, mob, family and identity.

All funds raised support Red Dust's health and well-being programs in communities. Find out more about our programs here.

What to expect?

  • Free access to Red Dust's Reconciliation Essentials online learning modules with each ticket.
  • Understand what Reconciliation is, where you fit into Reconciliation and what role/s you can play.
  • Understand where you fit into the identity, geography and history of Australia.
  • Understand why and when to Acknowledge Country and deliver it in a meaningful way for you and your audience.
  • Establish your cultural foundation by exploring three questions: Who's your mob? where's your Country? and what's your cultural and spiritual background?
  • Build an understanding about Aboriginal history and Australian history as we explore the timeline that created Australia as we know it today.
