The FREE Forward Farming Program of four days run over two weekends in March and April, addresses the foundation needs of your farm leaders, to successfully build the skills and knowledge to plan and manage a sustainable farm business, overcoming risk and advancing farm operations with the latest use of farm technologies and performance management.Why Farming Forward?<ul><li>Design, develop and implement a farming action plan </li><li>Review, refine and improve your farm’s operations</li><li>Build resilience, reduce stress and work out ways to move your farm forward. </li><li>Ongoing support, strategy and experience from accredited farming business mentors</li><li>Take a look at the future of farming </li></ul>Other benefits:<ul><li>Develop yourself professionally </li><li>Develop transferable skills </li><li>Reduce staff turnover and improve productivity on the farm</li><li>Building a positive farming culture</li><li>Improving communication and increasing knowledge of the farm business</li><li>Increase morale and motivation</li></ul>What will Farming Forward give you?<ul><li>1.5 hour one on one mentoring via a video session</li><li>An actionable plan for your farm</li><li>One on One mentoring with an accredited business mentor </li><li>Supportive farming networks </li><li>Heaps of supporting learning and farming resources </li></ul>The proposed program is to be accredited by the Farmers Skill Set through the AHCSS00030 Business Management Skill Set, including the following units of competency:<ul><li>AHCBUS512 - Develop and implement family business structures and relationships</li><li>AHCBUS516 - Develop and review a business plan</li><li>AHCBUS517 - Monitor and review business performance</li><li>BSBRSK501 - Manage risk</li></ul>
