Matt Glover is the Lead Guide at Forest Therapy Victoria and the director of MGA Counselling Services. He is a trauma informed counsellor, working with individuals and couples to achieve a full and abundant life. He is Australia's first qualified counsellor to be accredited with the International Nature and Forest Therapy Alliance.
This walk is designed for those who want to experience a deeper connection with nature and benefit from the health and wellbeing offerings that the bush provides.

Warrien Reserve, located in Croydon North, is a cherished green space offering a tranquil escape from suburban life. Spanning 10 hectares, the reserve features a mix of native bushland and recreational areas, making it ideal for both relaxation and outdoor activities. Forest Therapy is an emerging field in the health and wellbeing industry. With recognised beneficial impacts on our immune systems, heart rate, concentration, sleep patterns, and general wellbeing, this is three hours well spent!
Combining a gentle walk with forest therapy activities, participants will experience nature in a whole new way.
On the day of your walk, it is essential you bring the following:
Covered, walking shoes - no open toed shoes please!
Water bottle and snacks.
Pen and notebook
Clothing appropriate to the weather conditions.
Please ensure you are wearing sunscreen.
Note that the walk will be cancelled if the weather conditions are deemed to be too dangerous.
