Overview

Football NSW will be hosting its third Club Development Conference at Valentine Sports Park on Saturday 7th February 2025.

The 2026 Football NSW Club Development Conference will empower community clubs to plan strategically to increase capacity and participation through education, workshops, resources, and transfer of knowledge.


Topics for the day will include:

  • Safeguarding: Matt Sibley - Director, Sports Safe Solutions
  • Volunteerism: Catriona Rose - Senior Program Manager, Sports Program, Australian Sports Commission and Tom Finch - Assistant Director, Coaching at the Australian Sports Commission
  • Sponsorship: Delfina Moresco - Sales Manager, Two Circles
  • Governance: Ian Londish - Governance Institute of Australia
  • Finance: Rob Laws - Director, R. W. Laws and Associates
  • Diversity, Equity and Inclusion: Hayley Conway - CEO, Pride Cup; Alison Lloyd - Football NSW Female Para Program, Head Coach; Steve Weatherly - Vice President, Macarthur Magic
  • Referees: Emma Kocbek - Referees Development and Education Manager, Football NSW

Club Changer clubs who have completed their 1-star or 2-star & 3-star accreditation before December 9 will receive a free/s ticket to the conference.
