Flower Photography Workshop

Flower Photography Workshop

27 Sorell StPort Huon, TAS
Sunday, Mar 22 from 10 am to 11:30 am AEDT
Overview

Join us for a fun day capturing the beauty of flowers through your lens - no experience needed, just bring your camera and creativity!

Joelle has opened up her flower field for photo shoots, flower picking and now photography workshops for beginners! She has been a professional photographer for over 15 years now, mainly focusing on weddings and families. She’s also a flower farmer and has a keen eye for what makes a flower picture stand out. Joelle uses angles, manual settings and various perspectives to create exciting images.

This workshop will focus on thinking outside of the box and manual settings. If manual is too daunting you’re more than welcome to use automatic and we’ll just focus on angles and perspective. This will be a fun experience where everyone is welcome and if you’re on a different level I’ll adjust my teaching methods according to each individual. We’ll be walking around the 50m x 14m flower field which is located on a hill, it features a flower maze, 450 dahlias in tight rows and a rose garden which is still in its infancy stage but some roses might be blooming already for some fun shots.

Joelle will show you around the field for 90 minutes where you can pick her brain about everything flowers, you’ll learn how to take beautiful pictures in any light and with any camera. This is for beginners or for anyone seeking for something fun to do. Prices are per person and at the end of the course you can pick a small bouquet from the field to take home in a jar.

Price: $150 per person (8 people max per session)

Location: Port Huon, Tasmania

Duration: 90 minutes

Day & Time: 22 March starting at 10am

*Vouchers available for gifting
