About this event

  • 3 hours

Have a passion to learn photography? Want to make some new friends while you do it? Come and learn with a nature photography workshop by Kate. In this workshop you'll be learning more about flower and close up photography at the beautiful Adelaide Botanic Garden as well as learning new skills to improve all of your photographs.

Kate Hollister is a professional nature photographer who knows how much getting into nature can rejuvenate the soul. She knows that photography is more than just pressing a button. That it is about connecting with what is around you, expressing yourself and taking that moment out of life to be present in nature.

What’s different about this workshop:

  • The workshop starts over coffee (or hot chocolate for the non coffee drinkers) where you’ll learn skills that you’ll put into practice once you’ve finished your drink.
  • It is only women so you can feel comfortable and make some new friends.
  • With only 5 women in the group you get one on one attention from Kate to see improvements in your photography then and there.
  • This workshop is for beginner photographers. Whether you use a phone or an SLR camera, you will come away with some new skills.
  • A relaxed atmosphere that is full of laughter and learning. You’ll discover that taking lovely photographs doesn’t have to be hard.
  • Continue the conversations in the exclusive Facebook Group.
