With thanks to The Moree Gallery, Louise from Floralovely Calligraphy is bringing the "Floralovely Workshop" to Moree, NSW for the first time!

In the relaxed and welcoming environment at Cafe Gali, enjoy a cup of tea or coffee before sitting down with like-minded people to learn something new!

The workshop is designed for absolute beginner calligraphers, or those who have always wanted to try but never knew where to start!

Beginning with a welcoming tea or coffee at 9:30am, the workshop will cover assembly of a calligraphy pen, nib handling and ink dipping. Participants will come to understand how a calligraphy pen/nib works and how, with practice, it can be made to work beautifully to create a personal style of hand lettering. There will be a short morning tea break during the session and the workshop will conclude at 12:30pm with a light lunch at Café Gali, which is included in the ticket price.

Floralovely

Everything that is needed to begin learning the art of modern calligraphy is included (see list below) and participants will take home all supplies so practice can be continued at home. Information will also be provided as to where to buy calligraphy supplies and recommendations for further study.

An oblique or straight calligraphy pen/nib holder
2 x nibs + mini envelope
A jar of black ink

Also included - light refreshments for morning tea and lunch!

Places are very limited so each participant can benefit from individual instruction within the workshop session.

This workshop is best suited to beginner calligraphers.

Tickets are transferable and refundable up until 2 weeks prior to workshop date.
