About this event

  • 1 hour

This Story Australia is a local charity that preserves the personal stories of our veterans in documentary interviews.

As a part of NAIDOIC 2023, This Story was funded to travel to the Torres Strait, Far North and Central Queensland to capture the unique stories of our Indigenous veterans.

First Nations veteran stories is a video compilation of stories from the Torres Strait, Far North and Central Queensland and the wider Brisbane area. Veterans featured share some incredible insights not only from their service, but what it has been like to grow up in an ever changing Australia.

We hope this is chapter one of an ongoing pursuit to truth-telling in the veteran space.
