Jayden Marriott: I’m With You, I Always Have Been artist talk and launch

Sunday will also feature the launch of the first Art and Community exhibition for 2026 called I’m With You, I Always Have Been by Jayden Marriott. Jayden is an artist from Warners Bay. He will present a Q and A about his new exhibition with MAC yapang Curator, Ellen Hewiitt at 12:30pm.

Jayden’s newest collection of abstract paintings are drawn from the childlike wonder and energy that, as a child, the artist used to create art with.

Food and drink

From 9am to 3pm Mr Bobangles coffee cart, on the MAC yapang terrace will have hot and cold (non-alcoholic) drinks & light eats available for purchase.


Youth Artisan Markets

MAC yapang is proud to host our Youth Artisan Markets, showcasing young local entrepreneurs aged 12-24 years and their original, hand-crafted goods.

The Youth Artisan Markets will be held in the StudioMAC space accessed via the main entrance.


Entertainment

Live music from 10:30am to 1:30pm with Lili Crane.


Parking

First Class 25 is a highly anticipated and popular event, as such, the opening celebration will be a very busy time. We recommend, where possible, car-pooling or using alternative transport on the day. Please follow directional signage and make use of overflow parking locations. Note you may have to walk a short to medium distance, please plan and time your visit accordingly. Disabled car spaces only are located next to MAC yapang via vehicle access road.


Tickets

The First Class 25 celebration is a free event and open to the public. Please register your attendance to assist our team in planning.

Please note there is no need to print your tickets off for this event.
