A free sausage sizzle and info session on the ARA inclusive employment program which helps people from refugee backgrounds to find work!
For Australian residents or eligible visa holders from refugee backgrounds aged 14-67! If an injury, health condition or disability means you cannot work more than 30 hours a week, you are not alone and this is for you!
The ARA Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) program can assist you with both pre-employment and In-employment support including:
- Job searching, skill building & confidence development
- Onboarding, workplace adjustments & coaching
- In language support, job retention & career development
Ages: All ages (families welcome - playspace available)
Cost: Free

Accessibility Pre-Visit Information
There are a number of ways to get to our venue!
- Bus: The venue is a short stroll from stops 9 – 12 Hawker Street which is bus numbers 251-254. https://adelaidemetro.com.au/stops/view/12818
- Train: The venue is a 15 minute stroll from the Bowden (Grange & Outer Harbour lines) or Ovingham (Gawler line) train stations.
- Bike: Bike parking is available onsite and the venue is a short ride off the Outer Harbour Greenway.
- Car: Street parking is available on Green Street, Hawker St and around Ethelbert Square (a brief 2 minute walk away). N.B. There are currently road works on Hawker St that will effect your drive (depending on where you're coming from)
