A free, friendly session to learn about breast, bowel, and cervical cancer screening. Ask questions and find out how you can get screened.

Cancer Council SA and BreastScreen SA invite you to a free information night at the Mount Gambier Italo Australian Club.

Finding cancer early often means simpler treatment and better outcomes. Early detection saves lives.

Everyone is welcome! Come along to hear from relevant health professionals about finding cancer early and what cancer screening tests are available to you.

These include:

  • Bowel cancer tests every two years for men and women 45 and older
  • Mammograms every two years for women aged 40 and older
  • Cervical cancer tests for women every five years from age 25

Information about the BreastScreen SA Mobile Screening Unit (which is in Mount Gambier until July 2026) will also be available.

There will be time to ask questions and collect free resources available in different languages - meaning you can leave feeling more confident about your health.

Dinner and light refreshments will be provided. Please let us know of any dietary requirements when you RSVP. A door prize will also be on offer.
