Army veteran Reality Winner is confronted at her home by two FBI agents. A cryptic conversation begins and we observe Reality’s secure life begin to unravel as she defends herself from their questioning. With all dialogue taken from transcripts of the recorded interrogation that actually happened to this young woman in 2017. This surreal film experience alternates in tone between tense and the banal so allowing the audience a rare insight into the rare US secret service at work.
Film Club is held at Max Webber Library Function Centre, Blacktown. These screenings are free but are for library members only, who are also invited to gather for a discussion afterwards. Free car parking is available in the library’s basement car park off Alpha Street.
