About this event

Over the October long weekend 2023 (September 30th - October 1st) the town of Lake Cargelligo will host the Festival of the Lakes - an opportunity for anyone who reserves a special place in their heart for the Lake to remember the past, enjoy the present and celebrate a strong future together.

Featuring live music, a street parade, market stalls, food vans, silent disco, a sports gala day, and art, photography and memorabilia exhibitions, the Festival will be a chance to come together and see what's happening in our beautiful town. The Festival will commence with a Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony and continue throughout Saturday and Sunday at Liberty Park and the Rec Ground. There are also many events to be held throughout the weekend by other organisations and groups, including an open day at the Museum with lunch and an old-time shearing display, bowling, and church services.

Register now for your free tickets to the Festival of the Lakes 2023! The free tickets for this event will be used to ensure that we have enough amenities for everyone who is coming.
