About this event

  • 1 hour

Explore our state’s fascinating history as a resident researcher at State Library! Dive into our collections, uncover untold stories, and document our heritage as a research fellow.

Applications for the 2025 Queensland Memory Awards will open on Monday 1 July and close 5pm, Monday 12 August 2024.

Curious about what it takes to become a fellow? Attend our Fellowships Information Night and hear insights from a distinguished panel comprising of past fellows, judges and State Library staff. Gain valuable knowledge about the program and learn first-hand what criteria the judges prioritise in successful applications, empowering you to craft the best application possible!

At the end of the event there will be a Q&A where you can seek guidance, share ideas, and refine your research project with the help of the panel.

Can’t make it in person? No problem! The event will be live-streamed and also recorded and uploaded to State Library’s website, YouTube and Vimeo channels. Submit your questions beforehand or during the event using Slido.

Join us in documenting our past for future generations!
