Welcoming you to join us at sunrise every Thursday at the South Melbourne Life Saving Club.
After a successful World Mental Health Day event, the South Melbourne Life Saving Club has welcomed us to hold a weekly rise and mobilise yoga session every Thursday.
No two practices are the same - we will vary up the themes every week - aligning with the seasons, the elements and moon cycles.
6.15am arrive early to get settled leaving your mat and belongings inside.
6.30am we meet in silence meditation on the beach.
6.40am we head inside and get into a mobility focused flow with a view unlike any otehr layered with breathwork through out.
7.20am we head into the water for a dip.
7.30am we pack up and head across the road for a coffee & community chats.
This was created as a response to mental health decline back during our pandemic... guiding us into understanding that although our outter world may throw us around there is plenty we can do within... and create some shifts naturally, together.
- Community & connection is the leading cure to loneliness and isolation... oxytocin being the love hormone.
- Breathwork proven to be leading the way in creating significant and permanent shifts in the mind and body... serotonin being the mood booster by significantly decreasing anxiety.
- Movement the best medicine that causes secretion of endorphins and dopamine in our system... aka. the happy high hormone.
It's all natural, from within.

Your Facilitator: Eliza Hilmer aka. @eliza.with.love
Founder of Feel Good Flows, she is your host, your guide, and your biggest cheerleader.
With over six years of teaching experience and more than 1,000 hours of advanced training, Eliza Hilmer has become one of Melbourne’s most respected yoga teachers , yet her true gift lies in how she makes every person feel seen, supported, and at home within themselves.
Having experienced the pains of recurring injuries, Eliza was facing reconstructive surgery for both her knees when yoga was introduced as an alternative. Her teaching journey has taken her across the world, from studying Kriya and Himalayan Breathwork at Sattva Yoga Academy in Rishikesh under Anand Mehrotra, to immersions with Daniel Rama and Vari Morales in Thailand, and breath and mobility training with Johannes Gaetsburg among the peaks of Mount Kosciuszko.
Eliza’s training and now teaching is a fusion of Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Kriya, Meditation, Breathwork, and Mobility - all anchored in one guiding intention: to help people remember who they are beneath the noise - that they are limitless.
Her classes are equal parts science and spirit, a moving meditation that reminds you that strength can be soft, that discipline can be love, and that your breath is your bridge home.
She teaches you not to perfom in your practice, but to ignite something real, a return to the body, to presence, and to the simple truth that when you feel good, you do good.
And that’s where transformation begins.
Eliza wishes for a world where wellness and transfortion are human rights - not priveleges - hence to this day her offerings remain a donation-based honesty model.
Likewise if you are in any hardship these classes are available as a gift - just reach out. Things will turn around, a new chapter will begin, these classes will help get you there faster.
