About this event

Feeding your livestock in times of drought can be tough—and there are often difficult decisions to make.

This free forum will provide best practice advice about feeding livestock in a drought and making decisions about the future of your livestock. You will also learn what support is available and how to access it.

Our presentation begins at 6pm, however join us from 5pm for a barbecue. The topics we will be covering include:

  • Duty of care for livestock owners
  • Feeding cattle—nutritional requirements
  • Feeding horses and goats/sheep
  • Euthanising livestock
  • Subsidies available for primary producers
  • Support services and assistance programs available.

The event will conclude at 8.15pm. Presenters will be available to answer questions until 9pm.
