February Dressing Circle - Shoes, Glorious Shoes
Event Information
Description
Come join a select group of women at the February Meeting of the 'Dressing Circle'. We are starting the new year with a fun topic that will have you running, striding or hobbling into 2020.
February 21 Topic: ‘Shoes, Glorious Shoes’
While we all outwardly proclaim that we buy shoes for practical reasons, the truth is that each of us ‘buy shoes on emotion and then find a way to justify them with reason’.
Is your shoe wardrobe under control, threatening to need a separate room, boring or makes you smile? Are you abreast of modern trends and the best Australian shoe brands?
Shoes can make or break your outfit. First impressions count and many people judge you on your shoes before they glance up and down over the rest of you.
- Are you an Imelda Marcos with more pairs of shoes than you can count?
- Do you plunge into buying the latest shoe trends or stick with your tried and true styles?
- Do you have a particular shoe brand that totally reflects your personality?
- Are you into vegan, eco, leather, synthetic or a combination?
- Do you know what is the most common shoe size or the most popular shoe style?
Come along and in a safe environment share, laugh, connect, expand your fashion knowledge and share your shoe secrets.
The January meeting will be a friendly discussion over tea, coffee and chocolate cake.

PS – Of course every female knows that men, while tut-tutting our reason for buying new shoes, buy exactly the same way while denying any emotion.
The 'Dressing Circle'
is an initiative by me, Margaret Sims (Image Consultant), to get women together to discuss the challenges that we have with dressing in today's society. I invite you to come with your dressing challenges, questions and issues for future meetings.
