About the experience:FEAST is an immersive afternoon of mindfulness, ritual, and sensory exploration. This is an invitation to slow down, sensitise, and savour the abundance of sensation available in each precious living moment.You’ll be guided through practices that awaken curiosity, creativity, and connection to Divinity - before pairing with a partner to offer and receive two 1-hour rituals of sensory gifting. The afternoon closes with grounding and nourishing soup.Unlike conventional workshops, FEAST blends devotional ritual and embodied exploration in a safely held space where sensuality is honoured without being se*ualised.In a world that often races by in a whirlwind of responsibilities and chaos, there comes a time to slow down and reconnect with the profound beauty of the present moment - where all power, pleasure, playfulness, and perfection abide.This is your invitation to FEAST.Part workshop, part ritual, FEAST is a guided journey of self-discovery and sensory awakening, an exploration into the boundless realms of presence, pleasure, curiosity, and the Divine.What awaits you:Embodied mindfulness:-guided practices to bring awareness into the present moment, awakening your senses to the subtle nuances of pleasureRitualised sensory explorations:- immerse in a variety of sensory experiences guided by curiosity– receive the sensual gifts of a caring companion, and offer your own with intention and presence– bring personal items to play with and/or choose from our creative cornucopia of shared toolsCreative expression:- tap into your unique expression through sensory creativity and devotional playDivine connection:- experience sacred communion with your own body, your partner, and the Divine presence within and around youFeedback from past FEASTs:"Out of body, but embodied experience. About your facilitator - Miriam Fathalla - <a href="https://www.instagram.com/communion_events/" title="https://www.instagram.com/communion_events/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">@communion_events</a>Miriam creates embodied, expansive, playful, sacred &amp; spiritually directed ritual experiences. Informed by Kashmir Shaivism, Zen Buddhist Mindfulness, Islamic mysticism, Authentic Relating, somatic practices &amp; astrology, Miriam creates opportunities for genuine Communion - direct experience of the Divine (within ourselves, each other, and beyond) - with the rituals, retreats &amp; events that she produces.

A note from Miriam:Dress code: sensual, comfortable, and expressive. Wear what helps you feel most authentic and free to move.You may wish to have some skin exposed to receive touch. The space will be kept warm.During the ritual experience, participants may choose to remove layers (such as tops or pants) to allow for nurturing, non-se*ual touch on more areas of the body. This is always optional, guided by clear consent, and underwear remains on at all times - genital touch or stimulation is never part of this experience.Participants will be contacted directly soon after ticket purchase with a link to a form to complete at their earliest convenience, to inform the group container of any sensory needs, potential boundaries, and trigger risks so they can be attuned to and all participants can arrive in a state where we all feel supported to relax, feel, and be fully present.+++++++++++++++++Things to note:Centre of You has plenty of bolsters, blankets, and cushions for you to get cosy with. We recommend wearing comfortable, loose clothes to enable deep breathing and sitting/laying upon the floor with ease. Something to cover your eyes, if you wish to do so (eg. eye mask, scarf). A journal is recommended as are any familiar personal items that will aid you in feeling grounded (crystal, teddy, scarf, etc).Personal responsibility: Please make an assessment on whether you are feeling stable and resourced enough to explore the practices on offer in this event.No Photo/Video Content Will Be Captured: We recognise that being at an event where content is being captured can impact the personal comfort and nervous system regulation of our community. As such, it should be known upfront that this event is a photo and video free space. No content will be captured. We ask all participants to honor this agreement in respect of the shared experience by placing any recording devices away on arrival.Arrival: Endeavour to arrive between 11:45am - 12:00pm. To preserve the experience for all involved, doors will close at 12:15pm. Truly, it breaks our heart to have to turn latecomers away yet the disruption to the whole group experience by virtue of lateness does require management. We ask that you find understanding and consideration for the timebound nature of the container and make every effort to arrive on time.Driving: Centre of You is located upon Chapel Street and while you may get lucky with an untimed spot, particularly on a Sunday (try High Street) predominantly 1 and 2 hour parking is available (unmetered from 5pm). So you can fully settle into the practice, we suggest you avoid the need to move your car or risk a fine and park at the <a href="https://www.carepark.com.au/find-a-care-park/8-14-king-st-prahran/" title="https://www.carepark.com.au/find-a-care-park/8-14-king-st-prahran/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">CARe multilevel carpark </a>(8-14 King Street Prahran), a 140-metre walk from COY. 3 hours parking will be charged at $6.90.Public transport - tram: Both the number 6 tram &amp; 78 tram stop on the corner of High St/Chapel St. This is stop 31 on the number 6 tram (Moreland/Glen Iris) &amp; stop 45 on the number 78 tram (North Richmond/Balaclava).Public transport - train: Both Prahran &amp; Windsor stations along the Sandringham Line will get you walking distance to Centre of You.Finding Centre of You: Centre of You is nestled within the arcade that Chapel St Bazaar is in (217 Chapel St). It is up a flight of stairs with a wide landing at the half-way-point. Unfortunately, this current version of Centre of You does not have a wheelchair accessible lift.
