FDR Practitioner Training Course: 22-26 March 2021 (Remote Delivery)
Event Information
About this Event
The Family Dispute Resolution Course will introduce participants to the legal implications of practicing as a family dispute resolution practitioner and develop the necessary skills to support the safety of vulnerable parties, manage responses to domestic and family violence, work with a child focused approach and apply appropriate safety screening measures.
By completing this course and the other pre-requisites (Bond University Mediation Course and Mediator Assessment Course) you will have completed most of the training component needed to apply for registration as a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner.
The course facilitators utilise role plays, group discussions, case studies and written short answer responses with a competency based assessment.
Upon completion of the Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner Training Course participants must complete at least fifty (50) hours of supervised mediation practice to meet the Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner certification requirements.
Cancellation Policy
There is a restriction on numbers at all Dispute Resolution Centre training workshops. Most courses are filled quickly. Registrations are accepted only if and when payment is actually received. The Centre reserves the right to cancel courses where there are insufficient enrolments.
