Mikayla Nangle and Jack Tuckerman collaborate with composer Hamzah Mas for an immersive dance performance at The Lock-Up.

7PM DRINKS AND AFTER-HOURS EXHIBITION VIEWING7.30PM PERFORMANCE BEGINSFRIDAY 25 AND SATURDAY 26 NOVEMBER 2022FAULT LINES is a new dance work performed and choreographed by Catapult Dance Choreographic Hub’s Propel Choreographic Residents Mikayla Nangle, The Lock-Up’s Artist in Residence, Jack Tuckerman and composer Hamzah Mas.This new collaborative project is situated within a post-apocalyptic landscape, barren of most signs of life. The work explores the speculative consequence of humanity’s self-interest, it’s greed and impending climate catastrophe.FAULT LINES reveals the interplay between the chaos and the fight for survival, as the journey of those who remain unfolds within a fading existence. There will be a short Q&A session with the artists after the performance. ABOUT CATAPULT DANCE PROPEL RESIDENCYCatapult’s Propel Choreographic Residencies foster experimentation, and artistic interchange, creating a platform for research, practice, and performance. The conclusion of each residency sees showings and performances in alternate settings creating innovative, experimental and collaborative choreographic and multi-disciplinary arts practice.Supported by Catapult Dance Choreographic Hub, Create NSW and the Australia Council for the Arts.
