Event description
You're tired of being #teachertired--introducing fatigue resilience!

About this Event

We all know sleep impacts fatigue levels, and many teachers report difficulties with both sleep quantity and quality.

This masterclass is presented and hosted by Teacher Wellbeing Coach, Ellen Ronalds Keene, founder of Self-Care for Teachers and host of the Teacher Wellbeing podcast.

In this masterclass, you will learn:

- what the research tells us about teachers and sleep

- the relationship between stress, sleep and energy

- what sleep hygeine is and why it matters

- common lifestyle mistakes teachers make that prevent them getting enough good quality sleep

- simple strategies to help improve sleep and manage and mitigate fatigue

This is Masterclass 4 of a series on Fatigue Resilience and the focus is on sleep to help teachers with wellbeing and resilience. Although this content can stand alone, it builds on the content covered in previous Masterclasses.

The focus of Masterclass 1 was HRV and exercise for fatigue monitoring and measurement.

The focus of Masterclass 2 was the relationship between fatigue and how you fuel your body (nutrition and hydration).

The focus of Masterclass 3 was stress, the nervous system and how that impacts fatigue levels.

If you would like to also get the replay of Masterclass 1, 2 or 3 you can do so by supporting the Gold or Platinum tier of the Teacher Wellbeing Podcast crowdfunder here.

Please follow Self-Care for Teachers on Eventbrite and Facebook to be notified of future masterclasses.
